Chula Vista Fire Department - Stations & Apparatus
|
The Chula Vista Fire Department - includes nine fire stations and approximately 120 personnel, and the Chula Vista Fire Department (CVFD) protects the lives, environment and property of its citizens by responding to over 15,000 emergency calls annually to a population of 250,000 residents and covering a 52 square mile area.
CVFD personnel do more than just fight fires. They also provide a host of services including, rescue calls, medical aid calls, fire prevention, fire inspections, disaster preparedness awareness, hazardous waste response and fire and life safety educational outreach.
